Welcome to Department of Information Technology
About the Department
The Department of Information Technology is responsible for the planning,
collection, and dissemination of information and statistics at all
levels of the Auxiliary through supervision and direction of the AUXDATA/AUXINFO
system, the various Auxiliary National Internet Web Sites, and other
electronic media. Learn more about our vision, mission and
leadership here.
Services
The Department manages multiple services as part of our mission
including:
AUXDATA - The Auxiliary's
mission, personnel, facility, unit, training and competency tracking
system (note access to AUXDATA is limited). See our How to Library
for information on using this service.
AUXINFO - AuxInfo allows all
Auxiliary members to track their progress in the training,
certifications and other activities. All Auxiliary members have a quick
and easy way to follow their progress in gaining qualifications or
tracking hours in programs. All the data that is in AuxData, for which
you need a password, is also in AuxInfo. AuxInfo is a read only website
program that allows members to review their progress.
See our How to Library
for information on using this service.
Auxiliary eDirectory
- Need to find a Division officer or a fellow flotilla member's contact
info? Sign up for the national eDirectory. This searchable directory
contains contact and office information for every Auxiliarist. While you
are there please check to make sure all your contact information is
current. See our How to
Library for information on using this service.
Forms - The
Department is responsible for creation and maintenance of all official
National Auxiliary forms in printable, online fill-able, and electronic
submission format. Resources
The Department maintains a number of guides and tools to help
Auxiliarists accomplish their missions.
CS Guide - The
Communications Services guide discusses the nuts and bolts as well as
the policy issues involved in creating and maintaining an Auxiliary unit
or functional website. It also contains other information relevant to
operating a successful CS program. Includes a What Works section
which contains information on how various units get their CS job done
and the tools (hardware and software) they use.
How to Library -
The library contains articles and presentations on using Department
services like the eDirectory, AUXINFO & AUXDATA as well as links to
useful file readers and viewers.
