Division Chief Information Services (DVC-IS): Marilyn McBain

 

Division Vision:

  • Build on the close relationship with the active duty Coast Guard and DIRAUX personnel
  • Communicate to the Coast Guard the priorities needed from the Auxdata system for Auxiliary members
  • Continue educating IS officers with the Aux-10 C-School
  • Train additional instructors to cover added classes
  • Develop Auxdata presentation for ‘Newly Elected Officers’ taught by IS officers at all levels during workshops/conferences

Division Responsibilities:

Keep the members informed with the latest information about the automated data systems (AUXDATA).
Provide sufficient training to the members on how to use the data systems
Work with CG Headquarters to establish priorities and schedules.
Identify enhancement needs.
Establish and maintain a working relationship with the DSO-IS officers.
Provide answers from help desk questions.
Input the National Staff officers to AUXDATA.
Edit and publish an electronic newsletter.
